Top of the Golf Swing (rear view)
Once you’ve completed the backswing, the club should point left of the target as the picture shows. Shoulders are turned about 90 degrees, hips turned 45 degrees. Your weight should stay on the inside of the right foot. Spine angle is maintained as it was at setup. Eyes stay level as they were at setup, no head tilting. COMMON MISTAKE Club not stopping at this point but continuing farther over the shoulders and becoming an erratic overswing. PRO TIP If unable to maintain the posture during the backswing there could be weakness in glutes or abs, or a tightness in ankles or hip joints. Have a fitness screening done by myself or someone else in the fitness field.
