Post Impact of the Golf Swing (rear view)
At this point of the golf swing the lower body is going to decelerate soon and the upper body is turning to catch up with the lower body. The spine maintains most of the same angle it had at address. Your head should be coming out to watch the shot. (do not keep your eyes looking at the ground) Players that hit the ball very far have a skill of acceleration of the club to high speeds up to this point and then after this point the skill of deceleration of the golf club. If you are looking for distance, you can only swing as fast as you can decelerate.
COMMON MISTAKE Players keeping their head down looking at the ground for too long causing fat shots and hooks. PRO TIP Maintain spine angle like the picture is showing for straight solid shots. To help maintain these angles always stretch your shoulders and lower back before hitting any golf balls.
