Buried Lie in a Bunker

 In Short Game

When playing a buried lie or fried egg lie in a greenside bunker, be sure to setup differently than an easy blast lie. Put more weight on your front foot. 70 – 30 Ball position should be centre or near your back foot. Clubface should be square or a little closed at setup and when u strike the sand. Pick the club up steeply on the backswing and slam it down 1″ behind the ball creating an exposion of sand. Use more power than a normal splash sand shot. Do not attempt to followthrough, leave the club head in the sand. The ball will roll when it comes out on to the green. It will not have any backspin. Be sure to play for it.
