A new golf season

While we are still in the midst of winter, a hint of sunshine reminds us that a new golf season is coming up. Some of the lucky ones are teeing up the ball now in the sunny south, while the rest of us are merely dreaming of opening day.  Lots to do though this time of the year to get ready for the golf season. Keeping in shape is key. Overall fitness will make your debut on the course this year an enjoyable. There is nothing worse than getting out the club for the first time, hitting the ball, and pulling a muscle. Aches and pains will occur as we tend to wake up muscles that have been resting since last since, but ensure you are your best physically will ensure a long golf season ahead. Core strength is important for a number of reasons:  balance; strength; and posture.
